Lately, Tye has been in to lining toys up. He makes a line of cars on the coffee table or couch or floor. It has been freaking me out a little but my mom assures me that it can be typical behavior for a toddler. I will be keeping an eye on him!Sunday, March 15, 2009
Line of Cars
Lately, Tye has been in to lining toys up. He makes a line of cars on the coffee table or couch or floor. It has been freaking me out a little but my mom assures me that it can be typical behavior for a toddler. I will be keeping an eye on him!Tye's 2nd Birthday

Tye had quite a busy day on his birthday. It started out with a trip to Lowe's with his daddy. He loves to ride in the car shopping carts! On Thursdays we have music class so we were off to do that next. Then on to feeding therapy which makes for a busy morning. Tye is doing a little better with his eating...he has slowed down on throwing and spitting food and increased the amount he eats at meals. We still have a long road ahead, though. Back to his birthday....after lunch and a nap we met a couple friends at an indoor play area called Rafiki. They played and brought gifts that Tye is opening in the pictures above. Well, we ended the day meeting Bob at Toys R Us to pick out a new toy. This is the last picture. He loves their Thomas the Train table. We did not have a party for Tye until the Saturday after his actual Birthday. We had a truck party with good friends at our new house. It was a good day but a little sad not to be with family.

Almost 25 Weeks
Here I am at 24 1/2 weeks. Baby is still moving like crazy all day long! Now you can see her moving by watching my belly. It's crazy how quickly she is growing! The books say she is about 1 1/2 lbs. and 9 inches long at this time of gestation. I'm only 3 1/2 weeks away from the time my water broke with Tye so many memories are entering my brain from that difficult time. We have our fingers crossed that I will go all the way this time!!Thursday, February 19, 2009
Tye's Bed
If you haven't heard already Tye has not been too fond of the toddler bed. Actually since we took down the side of the crib he has not sleep one night or one nap in it. We have not been able to figure out why he prefers the lazy boy over his bed. Bob went in to check on him a couple nights ago and this is how he was sleeping. Usually he is on his tummy half off the chair...this position looks a little more comfortable. In the new house Tye will have a new twin bed and no lazy boy in his room. I hope to break him of this habit so he can get better sleep!Bob & Tye

Bob was home for a few days this past week after being in Cleveland for almost two weeks. Tye wouldn't let him out of his sight the whole time he was home. He absolutely loves his daddy! Bob is now at the combine in Indianapolis and will be home on Tuesday. It will be very busy for us when he returns because we are moving to a bigger house. We are going from a 1700 square foot house to 2500. It will be very nice to spread out a bit more and have a bedroom for the baby. We will have 4 bedrooms, an office, a laundry room, and 2 bathrooms upstairs then a family room, a living room with a fire place, a huge kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room and 3 car garage downstairs. Plus a good size fenced in backyard with a large patio. The subdivision is about a mile and a half directly west of where we live now so that won't be too much of a change. We plan to move all the smaller stuff on March 1st and March 3rd movers will get all the big stuff. I will enjoy getting organized before the baby comes but it will be quite the job!
